September 2025 CCB Payment Details
For the September 2025 benefit period, eligible families can expect the following:
- Payment Date:
The CCB payment for September 2025 is scheduled for September 19, 2025. - Payment Amounts:
The amount you receive depends on several factors, including:- The number of children under 18 years of age in your care
- Your family’s adjusted net income
- The ages of your children
- Your marital status
- Your province or territory of residence
For the July 2024 to June 2025 benefit year, eligible families can receive up to:
- $7,987 per child under the age of 6
- $6,770 per child aged 6 through 17
These amounts are subject to adjustment based on your family’s income and other factors.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the CCB in September 2025, you must meet the following conditions:
- Residency:
You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person. - Primary Caregiver:
You must be the primary caregiver of a child under 18 years of age. - Tax Filing:
You must have filed a tax return for the previous year, even if you have no income, to determine your family’s adjusted net income. - Child’s Residency:
